The Orchard is far more than a hotel; it's a home and the guests are treated as good friends. There is a lovely atmosphere, the pace is gentle and above all, guests are able to relax. The twelve well equipped bedrooms are bright and comfortable with en-suite or private bath and/or shower rooms. We pride our selves on our food using first class ingredients and as much local produce as possible. The table d'hôte menu changes daily and a hearty breakfast will set you up for the day. Vegetarian options are always available and we are happy to cater for special diets on request. The south facing sitting rooms are spacious, light and airy. The house is licensed to sell alcoholic beverages. Adjoining the dining room is a small bar; large enough to gather in, but small enough to be convivial. For the comfort of our guests The Orchard is non-smoking throughout. A secluded garden surrounds The Orchard. Apple and pear trees of course; places to sit out on warm days and a sheltered sun terrace. The hotel has ample private parking.
